CPR Recertification

This evening, 10 members completed the American Heart Association BLS Provider recertification. This class serves as a refresher in performing resuscitative efforts on adults, children, and infants suffering from choking or cardiac arrest. This renews our individual certifications for two years.

The Mountain Top Fire Company spent the week detailing our apparatus for the 100th Annual 4th of July Parade hosted by the Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills. AMB 13-1, AMB 13-2, ER 13, U 13, Brush 13 and UTV 13 attended the parade with 15 volunteers.

Today, the Seven Mountains EMS Council traveled to Sandy Ridge to perform relicensure requirement inspection to our EMS service in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Health Bureau of EMS. They reviewed our policies, scheduling (to ensure 24/7/365 coverage), etc.
