Ambulance 13-2 along with Brush 13-1 and Engine Rescue 13-1 attended the annual Heritage Days Parade in Philipsburg today! Was a great day for a parade! We brought home 1st place engine, 1st place ambulance and 2nd place brush!

Our ambulance stationed at Houtzdale-Ramey EMS. Our unit was loaned to them for a week back in May when their unit was out of service due to their service getting the new power load stretcher installed. We were still able to respond to our own emergencies with our other ambulance.

Phase 2 of the flooring project has begun. This includes the engine/brush bay along with the kitchen. This should be finished this week.

Phase 1 of the flooring project is complete. The meeting room, ambulance and utility bay have been completed. Next month after the May Sunday Dinner, the engine bay and kitchen will be completed.

On Friday, 8 of our members attended the memorial service for fallen Firefighter Jeffrey Buck Jr. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his significant other, friends and brother fireman. Hundreds of personnel and apparatus showed their respect. Rest Easy Jeff!

Our latest upgrade to our building is completed. Both restrooms were increased in size, new fixtures including handicap bars are installed. This upgrade makes the building more handicap accessible.
