1/7/2020. Box 13-30. Call # 1. Engine Rescue 13 responded for a motor vehicle accident at Tyrone Pike / Phoenix Rd. Updated report put the accident in the area of the storage sheds at the 2800 BLK. Engine Rescue 13 arrived to find one vehicle off the roadway which appeared to have overturned multiple times, occupant self extricated with minor injuries. Call # 62. 12/23/19.FD Box: 1350Fire-Rescue-SpecializedPUMP STATION LN @ HALE RD, RUSH TWP Utility 13 and UTV 13 responded to assist PSP and Houtzdale FD with a search detail. Utility 13 and UTV 13 were placed available prior to arriving on scene due to individuals being located and extricated from the wilderness by PSP.

Call # 59. 11/29/19.FD Box: CLFD 25Chimney Fire BANION RD, BIGLER TWP Engine Rescue 13 responded with 7 to assist the Madera Fire Company with a chimney fire with possible extension. Engine Rescue 13 staged at Main St & Banion Road until placed available a few minutes later by command.
Call # 58. 11/16/19Engine Rescue 13 responded to assist the Houtzdale Fire Company with a chimney fire in Woodward Twp. Engine Rescue 13 was placed available prior to arriving on scene as the box was held to Company 23 only.
Call # 57. 11/3/19 Engine Rescue 13 was alerted to assist the Philipsburg Fire Department with a dwelling fire in Rush Twp on Black Moshannon Road. Engine Rescue 13 responded with a crew of 4. While on scene, crew was assigned to perform salvage operations on the first floor and then was redirected to the basement to check for extension of the fire. The fire was found to be in the wall behind the fire place. Fire was extinguished. Units operated for 1 hr. 45 minutes.
Call # 56. 11/2/19. Engine Rescue 13 & Ambulance 13-1 was alerted for a dwelling fire on Whitetail Way-Decatur Twp., assisting the Columbia Fire Company. Engine Rescue 13 staged at Drane Hwy & Whitetail Way per Lieutenant 22, until being placed available a short time after. Ambulance 13-1 staged at the scene and no services were needed.
Call # 55. 11/2/19. Engine Rescue 13 was alerted to assist the Houtzdale Fire Company with a dwelling fire. Engine Rescue 13 responded with a full crew. We were placed available before arriving on scene as Chief 23 held the box to Engine 23 only.
Call # 51. 10/26/19FD Box: CLFD 23Dwelling FireWALL ST, BRISBIN Engine Rescue 13 was alerted for a working dwelling fire assisting the Houtzdale Fire Company. Engine Rescue 13 responded with a crew of 5. Crew was assigned as the Rapid Intervention Team and staged at the address. Our team was not deployed. Crew operated for 2 1/2 hours.
Call # 50. 10/24/19 This evening at 20:42 hours while operating on a public relations detail at the 9th annual Murarik Motorsports Haunted House, Engine Rescue 13 was alerted to assist the Philipsburg Fire Department with a building fire at the Harbor Inn at 810 N. Front Street, Decatur Twp. Engine Rescue 13 responded immediately with a full crew. Crew operated at the building fire for 40 minutes.
Call # 49. 9/26/19.FD Box: 5741Fire-Dwelling FireGRAHAM STATION RD, CFDECATUR TWP Engine Rescue 13 responded to assist the Philipsburg Fire Dept with a dwelling fire. Engine Rescue 13 was placed available prior to arriving on scene by command as the fire was extinguished by a passerby with a fire extinguisher.
Call # 48. 9/21/19FD Box: 1320Fire-Fire PoliceSTATE ST, RUSH TWP Utility 13 responded at the request of PSP for traffic control due to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries. Crew performed traffic control, fluid control and swept roadway off of debris from the accident. Unit operated for 1 hour.

Call # 46. 9/10/19.Box 13-50Search PartyMountain Branch area, RUSH TWP.Brush 13, Utility 13, UTV 13 responded to the Mountain Branch area of Rush Twp for a search party for missing individuals at the request of PSP. Houtzdale Fire Company was requested by Chief 13 to also respond to assist. Individuals were located after approximately 2 1/2 hours of searching.Thank you to all for your assistance!

Call # 44. Box 13--30Engine Rescue 13 and Truck 57 handled a fire alarm in the Linwood Development. Chief 13-4 arrived with a sounding alarm from the basement. Upon entry no smoke or fire was found and was found to be a false alarm. Box was placed available after approximately 1 hour.
Call # 43.Utility 13 responded at the request of PSP for traffic control for a disabled triaxle on the Sandy Ridge Mountain. Upon arrival on scene we placed flares. PSP then placed us available as they would handle the incident.
Call # 42. 8/2/19.(FD Box: 1320Fire-Hazardous ConditionsTYRONE PIKE @ FIRE TOWER RD, RUSH TWPEngine Rescue 13 and Utility 13 handled a wires down call. Upon arrival it found found a trixale had been run off the road from a car veering into their lane. Triaxle struck and sheered off a pole causing phone wires to come down across Route 350. Wire was removed from roadway. Please be cautious driving through the area as utility service workers may be working on a new pole and wires.
