On Monday February 18th, we were requested by the Columbia Fire Company to bring an ambulance to their fire station to a show and tell with girl scout troop 27177. The girls had many questions and enjoyed the stretcher rides and being strapped to the backboard.

This past Tuesday, we taught the Cub Scouts 43 of West Decatur about Fire Prevention and EMS with special guest Smokey Bear. We had a great time!

Today, we received a grant for operations and safety in the amount of $9,502 to be spent on training supplies to get our firefighters trained to firefighter 1 certification. We will be buying videos, projector, and training books with this funded money.
