Over the past 3 years, we have been in the process of updating our structural firefighting turnout gear as ours was over the recommended NFPA replacement date of 10 years. We have purchased 7 sets of turnout gear to outfit our main interior firefighters and they have all received their gear.

The Mountain Top Fire Company spent the week detailing our apparatus for the 100th Annual 4th of July Parade hosted by the Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills. AMB 13-1, AMB 13-2, ER 13, U 13, Brush 13 and UTV 13 attended the parade with 15 volunteers.

Our annual ambulance subscription drive is underway for 2022. We do third party billing. This means, when you are transported to the hospital by our ambulance, we will bill your health insurance provider for reimbursement.

Today, the Seven Mountains EMS Council traveled to Sandy Ridge to perform relicensure requirement inspection to our EMS service in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Health Bureau of EMS. They reviewed our policies, scheduling (to ensure 24/7/365 coverage), etc.
