The Mountain Top Fire Company owns and maintains the Sandy Ridge Community Park. This includes a Baseball Field, Basketball Courts, Tennis Court, Picnic Shelter and walking trails through the Moutain Laurel. We are working to improve the park and plans are to improve the ball field. The pavilion roof and rest room roofs have been replaced with help from the SCI Houtzdale work release crew. Crews removed brush and leveled gravel on some of the walking paths. More Improvements are on the way.  Special thanks to Park Superintendant Dusty Greenawalt for all his work.
